SAINT License Information

Both Single Site and Consulting licenses are available for SAINT®.

Single Site SAINT® License

The Single Site SAINT® license is appropriate for any customer who plans to use SAINT® at a single site. The license entitles you to use SAINT, SAINTwriter® (SAINT's report writer) and SAINTexpress® (SAINT's automatic update service). The cost is based upon the total number of servers, workstations, peripherals, and other nodes (hosts) to be scanned by SAINT® as well as the type of license.

Licenses are available which allow you to scan all addresses on one or more Class B Network(s), one or more Class C network(s), 10 or more single IP addresses on any network, or any combination of these. Each option allows you to generate a key which is good for one year at your site. You must identify the hosts or networks to be scanned by IP address at the time you generate your key. Additional hosts or networks may be added to the key at a later time, up to the capacity of the license. Additional capacity can be purchased at any time during the license period.

Single site SAINT® licenses may be purchased as either a:

Perpetual license, which may be renewed indefinitely by paying only the annual maintenance fee after the initial year.

Or, as an
Annual subscription, which is good for one year.

Annual Maintenance Fee – The annual maintenance fee entitles you to unlimited vulnerability signature updates and product upgrades for one year, and includes one hour of free technical support. The perpetual license pricing includes the annual fee for the first year; you may also choose to purchase a second year at current prices.

Consulting SAINT® License

The SAINT Consulting License is appropriate for security consultants that travel to multiple sites for performing assessments with the SAINT vulnerability scanner. SAINT offers a variety of options that are both flexible for budgeting and licensing needs. The consultant licenses offered are: a 15–day, 90–day, 1–year, or 2–year license subscription. We also offer an unlimited license for consultants that are required to perform a number of assessments.
